Come join our innovative and progressive team at In-Tek Inc. We are excited to announce the current opportunity for a leadership position as Production Supervisor within our growing company.

In-Tek Inc. is located in Tilbury, Ontario, and provides robotic painting and finishing services, including plastic and metal painting for automotive and appliance products. Our facility and warehouse is over 100,000 sq. ft. and ISO Certified.

**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Monitor production for efficiency and quality - escalate quality issues and defects accordingly
- Oversee production staff and take part in hiring/training of production staff as required
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new personnel
- Assist in investigation and reporting of near miss or actual incidents
- Monitor, record / track, and report employee attendance and absences
- Provide coaching and counselling as part of the progressive discipline policy as it relates to performance and attendance of production staff
- Assist with scheduling of plant personnel
- Participate in daily team huddles and management meetings as required
- Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee activities as assigned
- Ensure staff compliance with required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as steel toe shoes or boots
- Overall, ensure compliance of personnel with corporate policies, procedures, and safety standards - and report any issues or non-compliance accordingly

**Skills and Abilities**
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Previous experience working in a paint production setting preferred
- Compliance with company policies, procedures, and ministry standards required
- Valid forklift certification an asset
- Knowledge of raw materials, paint production process, quality control, air tools / hand tools, and general safety policies and procedures related to the plant environment required
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Exceptional communication skills - ability to communicate orally, as well as in writing, and comfortable speaking publicly to a team
- Ability to work both day and afternoon shifts, with availability of occasional weekends and overtime
- Proficient in operation of Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook 365, Word, Excel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- automotive production: 5 years (required)
- Supervisory or Leadership: 3 years (preferred)
