Business Manager-Freight Forwarding
**Description**
We are a rapidly growing flexible packaging solutions provider dedicated to delivering client-centric supply chain solutions across the globe. We are uniquely positioned to offer streamlined end-to-end logistics solutions across a multitude of sectors.
**Job duties/Skills required**
- Transportation/Logistics/International freight market knowledge
- Knowledge and experience of handling incoming and outgoing material in a warehouse setting.
- Energetic, outgoing personality
- Superior customer relation skills, excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
- Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to land new business opportunities.
- Develop market strategies by researching lists of high potential prospects.
- Identify and qualify new customers.
- Prospect new customers through lead generation, trade shows, follow-up, and cold calling.
- Responsible for creating sales goals to aid in achieving targets
- Outstanding closing deals skills
- Knowledge of e-filing with CBSA
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Burlington, ON L7L 6A9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Work Location: In person
