The Investment Management Office is part of the Global Investments and Growth Function in the Office of the Global COO. The role of the Investment Management Office (IMO) is to work closely with the Investment Owners, and their leadership teams globally, to ensure all the designated portfolio investments meet the strategic investment goals and business case ROIs.

**The Opportunity**

The IMO Lead reports into the Head of the Investment Management Office (IMO) and leads the monitoring for a specific portion of Collective Strategies portfolio of investments.

Audit and Tax, has responsibility for the following Investments:Tax Re-imagined,Legal Re-imagined,Future Proofing our Functions - Digitizing Tax,Senior Tax Talent and Audit Quality,Modernising Audit,Future proofing Our Functions - KPMG Clara

What you will do:

- The IMO Lead will work closely with the Investment Owner to define the strategy and mechanism for how they will work with their respective GMT sponsor and their Investment Owner to ensure Investments are set up for success and are delivering what was expected.
- The IMO Lead will interact regularly with functional leadership and senior level stakeholders to provide portfolio oversight and proactively initiate ideas to improve the outcomes of the Investment and value realization.
- Will be responsible for assisting the Investment Intelligence team, who have responsibility for delivering outcomes-based reporting and recommendations to Global leadership, the Global Investment & Technology Committee (GITC), and the Global Board for effective decision making.
- Primary role in monitoring and reporting on the achievement of the KPMG’s strategic Collective Strategy 3.0 for their portfolio of investments. Critical decisions such as investment issue escalation or acceleration will come from the recommendation of the IMO Lead to the Head of the IMO.
- The IMO Lead interfaces with functional and Global Management Committee level leadership, combining, exceptional executive presence with a strong and authoritative command of issues and effective presentation skills.
- In addition to all of the above, the IMO Llead will be directly responsible for the IMO financial management process and will have people management responsibilities for IMO team members as agreed by the Head of the IMO. They are directly responsible for setting the objectives, strategic direction, and priorities for that team.

What you bring to this role:

- 15+ years of experience in a professional services organization, including strong audit, assurance and risk management experience.
- Strong experience in the breadth of tax services, and the effective deployment of technology solutions in both audit and tax environments.
- Strong understanding of how a regulatory environment operates and a good understanding of KPMG Clara would be important. (KPMG Clara is a secure platform / centralised portal that serves as a single source for the exchange of important information including valuable insight into audits. It houses advanced, predictive analytics capabilities within a single, cloud-based source and seamlessly adopts the latest digital innovation.)
- Demonstrated expertise in the areas of Investment management, program management, change management, and an understanding of operational and market strategies.
- Strong business knowledge and acumen.
- Experience leading large
- scale transformation programs
- Leads big picture planning and can set the strategic direction Uses authoritative judgement to make complex decisions with high impact and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgement.
- Strong analytical skills that can synthesize large amounts of data to extract what is relevant and provide clear direction to the ELT, GMT and Global Board on decisions to be made.
- Ability to influence and not afraid to probe, question or recommend solutions when a program is off track
- Leads team development, builds team morale, and champions the team
