An Alstom Regional Account Manager primary responsibilities are to monitor the market, identify and pursue sales opportunities within their customers and territory. Alstom Regional Account Managers also help to ensure a company’s clients are satisfied with the products and services they’ve received. A Regional Account Manager is responsible for obtaining revenue intake targets, customer satisfaction level, SAP and Wall C data updates that pertains to communications with the clients. Regional Account Managers visit clients in-person when required as well as manage an account remotely. Ultimately the role of an Regional Account Manager is to build long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team of engineers, project managers, customer service representatives
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Experience writing and delivering communications like proposals customers
- Responding to Overhaul and Parts bids experience
- Ability to work with little supervision and the ability to take initiative
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to build long-lasting and meaningful relationships with clients
- Analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets
- Acting as the point of contact if clients have any issues and helping them work through problems
