An Alstom Regional Account Manager primary responsibilities are to monitor the market, identify and pursue sales opportunities within their customers and territory. Alstom Regional Account Managers also helps to ensure a company’s clients are satisfied with the products and services they’ve received. A Regional Account Manager is responsible for obtaining revenue intake targets, customer satisfaction level, SAP and Wall C data updates that pertains to communications with the clients. Regional Account Managers visit clients in-person when required as well as managing accounts remotely. Ultimately the role of an Regional Account Manager is to build long-lasting relationships with clients.
**REQUIRED PROFILE**:
- Graduate Degree in Engineering or Business field
- Master of Business Administration or in Engineering (Desirable)
- At least 5 years’ experience in rail or related business, or project engineering industry
- High proficiency in organization’s products and services
- Good knowledge and connections with Transport clients / customers in the Country/Cluster/Region (Desirable)
- Good numeric and analytical abilities
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Strong ability to convince, influence & persuade
- Good problem solving, critical thinking and decision making
- Business development acumen and the ability to anticipate customer needs
- Ability to adapt to demanding and changing environment
- International mindset with good language skills
- Sensitive to global & local cultural factors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team of engineers, project managers, customer service representatives
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Experience writing and delivering communications like proposals to customers
- Responding to Overhaul and Parts bids experience
- Ability to work with little supervision and the ability to take initiative
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to build long-lasting and meaningful relationships with clients
- Acting as the point of contact if clients have any issues and helping them work through problems
