**Who Are We Looking For**

We are seeking a multi-talented and enthusiastic individual to join our our Marketing & Events Team.

As we are teaching kids to become entrepreneurs, we are seeking those who have the mindset of one as well. You will be working remotely from your own space with regular online communication with the team.

** IMPORTANT - Please note that this role is being funded under the Canadian Government's Summer Youth Grant to help youth gain hands on experience and will have some qualifying questions for you once you have applied for this role.**

**Your Ownership Role**

We are seeking to help us coordinate, organize and promote our BizKids Community Showcase Event at Lougheed Mall, Burnaby BC on July 20th, 2024, as well as help us with promoting BizKids in general throughout the community.

You will be working directly with the CEO and Marketing Team to gain your directives and then given the space to work from home, or on the road, on your assorted projects and responsibilities.

This is a proactive role and will require someone able to take initiative, move quickly while having a strong attention to detail and ask questions when uncertain about a project or initiative.

These roles will offer you the opportunity to build your event coordination experience and portfolio.

**Additional Role Requirements**

The BizKids Community Event is on Saturday, July 20th at Lougheed Mall in Burnaby, BC. During this event you will be supporting our Kid Vendors, as well as helping to coordinate our volunteers, engage with the community, and help keep the events running smoothly throughout the day.

As such, you will require:

- To live locally in the lower mainland or Fraser Valley of BC
- Be available to attend our BizKids Event all day in person on Saturday, July 20th, 2024
- Have or be willing to obtain a criminal record check for working with children
- Be open to taking on other projects within the charity that may come up to support your team.

**INTERVIEWS**

Interviews will be scheduled during the weeks of May 13 - 24, 2024. Pre-Qualifying questions will be sent through Indeed, as per the Government Grant this is being funded under and interview times and dates will be provided to you at that time.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2-3 months

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
