Reporting directly to the Director, Brand Marketing, the **Social Media Manager** will leverage their experience and talents to elevate Sleep Country Canada brand through social media. As Social Media Manager, you will be an expert in social media platforms, you’ll establish our approach to influencer & content creator go-to-market plans, and proactively identify the ideal fits for our brands. You will also be in charge of strategizing, planning, creating and engaging with online content to ensure our brands (Sleep Country and Dormez-vous?) are reaching the right audience at the right time.

**In this role you will**:

- Develop a strategic, multi-channel social media marketing plan for Sleep Country/Dormez-vous? owned channels that contributes to the growth of our business and builds brand affinity with our customers
- Build relationships with influencers and content creators as part of content development efforts
- Launch influencer and content creator campaigns, both independently and alongside external agency partners
- Create new and innovative content (including ideation, copywriting, video production) for established and emerging platforms that drive organic growth
- Create and manage the social media calendar with the ability to read, react, and adapt in real time.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team and other departments to launch social media campaigns that will build brand affinity and ultimately deliver a positive ROI
- Undertake regular reporting of social media performance analytics, leveraging analysis to improve our social efforts over time
- Act as an extension to the Customer Service team by occasionally responding in a timely manner to customer questions, inquiries or comments

**Qualifications** The Qualifications and Experience we’d like to see**:

- University or College Degree in marketing, or related discipline
- 5 years’ experience in digital and social media, marketing and/or communications experience, ideally in a retail environment
- Demonstrated experience in leading and dealing with content creator / influencers and agencies in order to meet business objectives and drive results
- Experience in delivering new and creative marketing solutions and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strategic thinking and experience with performing post campaign analytics
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, project management, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Exceptional written communication with ability to storytell and develop compelling narratives and illustrations
- Ability to work in collaborative and fast paced environment where attention to detail and handling multiple projects and timelines is critical
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, data analytics and social analytical tools
- Proficient with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Tik-tok and Pinterest
- Bilingual written and verbal communication skills in both English and French - **an asset**
