**About the Opportunity**:
Booking and Registration Clerks for Same Day Surgery and Pre-Op Assessment are responsible for facilitating surgical related activities. Such activities include efficient utilization of clinic nursing/anaesthesia time. In addition, they are responsible for the coordination of registration and admission; booking patients and the required tests in preparation for surgery and coordination of clinic appointments and other tests.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Grade 12
- One year related clerical experience, or successful completion of a recognized one year secretarial/office/business program
- Booking experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- PHS and STAR Registration preferred
- Knowledge of computers
- Data entry experience
- Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm preferred
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize duties
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Hours**:

- Permanent Part-Time (40%); 28 Hours Bi-weekly
- Shifts may include some weekends.
- A skills test will be required to complete selection.

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$22.89- $24.89 Hourly
