We are looking for a VP M&A to join our team and be responsible for business development and deal origination. Working alongside our executive team, you will be involved in various M&A projects and work internally with the team to deliver exceptional results for our clients. Your ability to build solid and trusting relationships with business owners and executives is what will drive your success at Norcap

**_Responsibilities_**
- Deal origination and business development
- Contribute to market research, map out key trends and areas of focus for M&A
- Communicate and build relationships with entrepreneurs and business owners
- Identify and recommend potential targets acquisitions
- Involvement in the various stages of the acquisition process
- Participate in preliminary negotiations
- Represent Norcap at important industry events across North America

**_Requirements_**
- Minimum of 5 years experience in relevant Corporate Development (B2B), M&A, Transaction Advisory, Private Equity, banking, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or another relevant field of study
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to carry high-level conversations with business owners and executives
- Strong business development skills
- Self-starter, ambitious, entrepreneurial spirit, willing to take on challenges and deliver results
- High standards of professional and ethical conduct
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (Fluent in English and French)

- Ability to work remotely
- Highly competitive package (base salary + bonus)
