We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Chief of Staff (CoS). This role is based in our Oakville Office in and reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

**Job Summary**

The CoS will support the CEO with any initiative/action/project for the effective running/transformation of the business. They focus on making time, information, and decision processes more effective and efficient for the CEO. They drive key strategic and business transformation initiatives across the matrixed organization. They partner closely with the business to understand requirements, develop, and propose alternatives and negotiate deliverables. They work with the leadership team and the broader organization to implement the transformation roadmap, create buy-in for the stakeholders, and ensure execution and accountability. They are responsible for developing processes and procedures for managing immediate issues, with a focus on continuous improvement and driving efficiency in a highly scalable, reliable, and secure manner. They must effectively execute day-to-day while managing critical projects and programs in a constantly changing environment.

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Provide strategic and operational support to the CEO to drive accountability and deliver results.
- Understand strategic business initiatives and help communicate and implement them across the company.
- Ensure maximum impact by aligning communications & activities and facilitating opportunities for productive collaboration with the CEO and the company.
- Be an important point of contact internally and externally for all matters pertaining to the CEO.
- Be a delegate to the CEO in key departmental budget meetings to help drive alignment across the business.
- Own and manage the executive governance processes (e.g., Leadership Teams meetings), ensuring these are adequately prepared, run effectively and actions are understood and addressed.
- Be the conduit between the NA & LATAM leadership teams and the Aliaxis global team, ensuring governance processes are aligned and any material required by global is submitted on time and to quality.
- Evolve the company strategy, where appropriate, aligning with the leadership team, driving execution, and holding stakeholders accountable to deliver related outcomes successfully.
- Drive and manage strategic cross functional projects and initiatives on an ad-hoc basis.
- Support continuous improvement by conducting project reviews, leveraging insights from trends, forecasting approaches or other key and strategic indicators.
- Work with key Americas and Aliaxis executives to align on priorities, while managing the impact of any changes on inflight initiatives.
- Provide recommendations to CEO on general improvements to the business.
- Capacity to anticipate problems and sensitiveness to issues that require diplomacy.
- Support the CEO on a day-to-day basis: track priorities, summarize key information needed to make critical decisions for the various entities.
- Develop and implement KPI reports and supporting analysis, to aid the CEO in running the business.
- Proactively signal risks or issues impacting company results before the risks materialize.
- Be a thought partner to the ELT members, on strategic projects, under the direction of the CEO.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, or equivalent/related field.
- MBA
- Minimum 10 years of relevant consulting, operational experience. (Preferably in a manufacturing environment).
- Relevant experience in M&A.
- 7+ years of people management experience.
- Dynamic, innovative thinker with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Consulting experience with a focus on operations management.
- Expertise with data analysis and budget management.
- Proven success in project leading role.
- Strong people management, motivational and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management, in particular VP and C levels.
- Solid leadership and analytical skills.
- Bilingualism (French and English) will be a plus.
- Action prioritization oriented - Acts with a sense of urgency.
- Highly skilled in both written and oral communication with a talent for crafting and delivering messages to all company stakeholders (VP level and above).
- Think strategically, be customer-obsessed, and drive accountability and result.
- Being highly inclined to collaborate & influence.
- Strong business acumen and business savvy.
- Knowledge of the operational environment (manufacturing).
