Maslin Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Math and Physics coach to join our team and assist high school and university students in mastering math and physics concepts and achieving academic success.

**Responsibilities**:
Assess students current understanding of technical concepts, learning type, time management skills, critical thinking skills as well as goals and level of motivation.

Create a comprehensive plan to address students’ both short terms and long term’s needs and deliver the appropriate technical material while providing coaching, nurturing, and instilling motivation.

Maintain accurate records/notes of learning sessions, including attendance, progress notes, and assessment of the results.

Adjust teaching methods as needed to ensure success.

Manage parents/guardians and involve Maslin Academy support staff as necessary.

**Qualifications**:
Intimate knowledge of math and physics concepts across all required topics.

Ability to explain concepts intuitively, probe understanding and adapt delivery method as needed.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate students' schedules.

Independent, able to work unsupervised and make complex decisions.

**Notes/Logistics**:
Learning sessions are delivered both in person and through video conference.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 10 per week
