**Department Overview**
The Sustainability and Corporate Citizenship Group (S&CC) brings together TD’s business, philanthropy and human capital to deliver on the bank’s purpose to enrich the lives of our customers, communities and colleagues. TD’s ESG strategy includes focus areas on climate change and responsible resources use, social and economic inclusions, and business integration. TD’s Climate Action Plan, announced in November 2020, aims for net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Meeting this goal involves executing initiatives focused on sustainable finance, greenhouse gas emissions reduction, identifying climate issues and solutions in carbon intensive sectors, and developing a TD perspective on the transition to the low carbon economy. This is a high priority commitment for the Bank, with engagement from executives across the enterprise.
The** Associate Manager, ESG Learning Programs** will report to the Senior Manager, ESG Centre of Expertise (COE) supporting the development of ESG education tools, events and resources that align to the bank's ESG enterprise priorities.
**RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES**
**Learning Programs focus**:
- Contribute to the ongoing development of a Bank-wide ESG learning plan and delivery of key learning tactics.
- Support the development and research needed to execute an advanced ESG-focused in-person learning program and related events.
- Collaborate with Sustainability and Corporate Citizenship (S&CC) colleagues and engage different lines of businesses across TD during the development and delivery of key learning tactics, including an ESG capstone project.
- Provide ongoing advisory to businesses and corporate teams to ensure learning initiatives are progressing in accordance with key learning tactics.
- Build out of the ability to evaluate the effectiveness and results of education programs, processes and related activities.
**Other responsibilities**:
- Support the Senior Manager, ESG Centre of expertise, as needed, with ESG initiatives including the bank's ESG associate program, and delivery of key items for the ESG Centre of Expertise.
- Support Change Management lead, where needed, with the development of associated initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders and key partners across TD to drive successful change and sustainment.
- Keep others informed and up-to-date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities.
- Identify and analyze issues and risks, determine solutions in consultation with relevant leaders and stakeholders, and provide meaningful information in response to issues / questions raised.
- Develop and manage good working relationships and maintain open dialogue with key internal and external business partners to ensure adequate execution of project deliverables.
- Understand broader functional/enterprise disciplines and how they link together with ESG priorities to deliver integrated solutions.
**Job Requirements**
**The incumbent should have**:
- The demonstrated ability to support strategic planning and execution of priorities with 5+ years of hands-on learning program development and/or project management experience.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to thrive in fast moving and ambiguous environments
- Excellent multi-tasking, organizational and time management abilities; able to prioritize, managing competing priorities and escalate issues effectively.
- The ability to work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders with an ability to inspire trust and achieve results by working with others. Impact and influence capability is key.
- Organizational awareness, resourcefulness and demonstrated relationship building skills - understanding of whom to engage in order to identify solutions and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication skills (including written and verbal) with all levels and across the enterprise.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into digestible content (through various media including, presentations, video, internal learning platform, etc.) making materials relevant to various audiences.
- Excellent power-point/presentation skills and capability to synthesize key information for senior level consumption.
- The ability to work with stakeholders at all levels that are in multiple locations.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in a relevant business area, consulting, learning or ESG and Sustainability.
