**Your Role & How You Will Contribute**

As an Associate, you will report to members of the leadership team on a project-by-project basis. Associates play a critical, multifaceted role in the execution of client engagements: supporting Directors and Principals, working with other colleagues and directly with clients, sophisticated analysis & research, report writing and reviewing, as well as providing guidance to other team members.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**

We commonly deliver a bespoke scope of work for our clients, but the services we provide most commonly are described in greater detail on our website. Our leadership team has a variety of specializations, and we work collaboratively to provide best-in-class client service focused on adding value on every engagement.

**Client Engagements**
- Significant responsibilities with direction and guidance in executing a wide range of client mandates (for both corporate and investor clients), including developing ESG strategies and policies, conducting ESG materiality assessments (including peer and investor benchmarking), developing frameworks to integrate ESG across asset classes, assisting clients in meeting their ESG-related disclosure and reporting requirements and ESG education.
- Primary preparer role on various client mandates, including research, sophisticated analysis, report development, and broad scope stakeholder engagement.
- Supporting Principals and Directors with project management accountabilities, managing up and anticipating needs (e.g., coordinating meetings, taking meeting notes, following up on tasks and other documentation).
- Contribute to high quality client experience and deliverables, including detailed review of client deliverables to ensure consistent formatting, accuracy of links and appendices etc.

**Business Development**
- Support with research and administrative needs in the development of proposals, RFP responses, and other new business opportunities.
- Contribute to social media and educational blog posts on targeted topics.
- Attend in-person and virtual events on behalf of the firm

**Firm Support**
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of templates and standard operating procedures.
- Support the administrative maintenance of various internal resources and databases, including ongoing resource planning and utilization tracking, as a billable hours-based role.
- Participate in firm-wide team days where we strengthen our internal relationships and envision the future of ESG.

**Qualifications**

**Education**
- Undergraduate university or college education in relevant discipline (e.g., commerce, finance, environmental science, sustainability management) is required.
- Graduate degree would be an asset.
- CFA, CPA designation or FSA credential would be an asset.

**Experience**
- One to three years’ professional experience.
- Experience in ESG gained at an institutional investor, corporation or advisory firm.
