**WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS**:
The Crew Planner prepares the monthly crewing schedules for the flight crew and cabin crew members. This activity mixes the commercial flying schedule with known crew vacation as well as required crew initial and recurrent training.

**Responsibilities**:
**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:
Completes monthly optimization of crew pairings for flight crew and cabin crew members, ensuring compliance with Transport Canada duty and rest rules and in full consideration of respective collective agreements
Completes construction of monthly schedules (lines) - roster construction
In conjunction with flight operations admin completes all required administrative support work to support pairing and line construction including the development of eligible bid lists, planned absence tracking, monthly reporting
Plans and administers crew vacation bidding
Provides support analysis related to crew staffing, domiciles and labour agreements
Evaluates future schedules and provide feedback to Network Planning based on identified crew impact/cost
Adhere to Flight Operations policies and Inflight Department policies, the crew scheduling guidelines, the pilot, and Cabin Crew Compensation agreements
Coordinates and books deadhead flights as required
Posts and awards crew vacancy bids in conjunction with flight operations management
Actively participate in Lynx Air’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations. Understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy
