About the Role:
Bosa Properties is looking to add an **Accounts Receivable Coordinator** to our Income Producing Properties team. Reporting into the Accounting Manager, this role will act as a key connection between the Property Management teams and our accountants. As Bosa’s commercial and residential portfolio of properties continue to grow, the Accounts Receivable Coordinator will gain exposure to property accounting at a foundational level. Key responsibilities include:
- Accounts Receivable - handle various payment methods, process AP refund cheques and assist with other department’s cheque deposits;
- Validate credit card transactions, including review and approve coding;
- Validate pre-authorized payment listing and assist Property Management team with any changes or updates in Yardi;
- Create chargeback invoices and maintain/settle AR balance;
- Work with Property Managers to create AR report as part of IPP Monthly reporting package;
- Rollover the rent roll work book and post rent rolls after Property Managers’ approvals;
- Assist Property Administrators to prepare rental notice to tenants;
- Prepare various tax returns for the property portfolio, including: parking taxes, PST and GST returns;
- Review bank reconciliations prepared by the Treasury team;
- Support property accounting team by completing various adhoc reconciliations and analysis as assigned.
What you Bring:
**Our Must Haves**
- At least 1-2 years of administrative or general accounting/accounts receivable experience;
- Some experience with computerized accounting systems, such as Yardi, will be considered an asset;
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written);
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
