Our client - a boutique Family Law Firm in North York, Ontario with a great reputation and positive working environment are looking to add a Junior Legal Assistant to their practice. This position will support one Lawyer and work alongside other Law Clerks and Legal Assistants.

This Firm is based in North York and this position is full time in office (5 days per week).

**You will be responsible for**:

- Responsible for calendar management and coordinating meetings
- Preparing Legal correspondence and documents
- General file handling and management to include opening and closing files
- Working with correspondence, financial statements, Affidavits of Documents, Court documents
- Maintaining daily contact with clients in a professional manner
- Arrange for filing and service of documents
- Assist with other Legal administrative duties as needed

**Who You Are**:

- Must have completed a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant Program
- Strong technical skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Legal terminology and sources of legal procedures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Multi-tasking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
