- **What you will do as a Parts Coordinator**:_
Responsible for supplying parts to internal and external customers over the front counter, service counter and receiving order requests via telephone, whilst always maintaining professionalism.
- Assists all customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
- Informs customers of companion part requirements
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
- Provides high level of service to internal and external customers
- Notifies the customer when special ordered parts have been received
- Follows up on back-ordered parts
- Keeps orderly records and perform cycle counts
- Add parts to open Shop and Mobile work orders and assign to proper tasks as required
- Assist with pulling and staging parts for shop jobs before coming into the shop
- Return unused or extra parts to correct inventory location
- Pick parts orders for shipping to customers, stock orders for off-site branches, parts transfers
- Ensure all jobs in the shop are provided with the parts and supplies required immediately when requested
- Identify and communicate any work order warranty requirements to technicians and shop supervisor
- Maintain accurate inventory or parts and supplies and process purchase orders and invoices
- Other duties may be assigned
- **RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY SPECIFICALLY RELATED TO QUALITY**_
- Accurate record keeping of inventory
- Identifying parts required for upcoming jobs in the shop and ensuring the communication of lead times of on parts arrival from suppliers
- Provide support in the general housekeeping of the parts areas to ensure work areas are free from hazards preventing health and safety issues as well as support quality process improvement initiatives
- **QUALIFICATIONS**_
- Parts counter experience and knowledge of the commercial trailer industry an asset
- Excellent time keeping skills, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
- Previous experience in a similar role or equivalent
- Confident and outgoing personality
- Excellent attention to detail
- Well organized and self-motivated
- Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
