**What can you expect**:
The _hybrid _sales development representative (SDR) works with inbound and outbound leads. The SDR focuses on moving leads through the funnel to qualify them and convert them into opportunities. By combining the responsibilities of inbound and outbound SDRs, the hybrid SDR brings a comprehensive approach to lead generation and qualification, allowing for a broader reach and more opportunities to drive sales growth. The role includes activities such as:
**You'll be responsible for**:
**Outbound** work**:

- Research, identify and prospect new leads.
- Actively engages in outbound prospecting activities. This involves identifying and reaching out to potential customers who have not yet interacted or shown interest in the company.
- Engage & build relationships with leads through different channels.
- Develop a firm understanding of the client’s industry, strategy, and goals.

**Inbound **work**:

- Managing inbound leads that come through various channels such as website inquiries, content downloads, trial sign-ups, or live chat.
- Engage with leads within a defined SLA.

**Creating opportunities**:

- Conduct needs analysis and evaluate the lead's fit with SmartRec on a discovery call.
- Understand the lead's pain points, requirements, budget, etc. to determine if there is a potential sales opportunity.
- Demonstrate the value of the solution to sell the next step.

**Sales funnel management**:

- Manage the sales pipeline by accurately updating lead information, activities, and outcomes in the CRM.
- Track progress, analyze conversion rates, and identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring the smooth handover of qualified leads to the sales team.
- Constantly improve our sales process in order to increase the number of sales opportunities and thus exceed the established objectives.

- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in sales,
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Bring your personality to the job Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, maturity and Tech-Savvy
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) with the ability to present ideas, including the ability to deliver presentations at all levels of the organization. French is sa strong asset
- Ability to work at Montreal office a minimum of 2 times per week
- Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar role in the e-commerce or SaaS or similar tech-related industry - strong asset
