Corporate Travel Agent

**Description of position**
The Corporate Travel agent assists Costco employees in making reservations (both domestic and international) for business travel. The reservations can include air, car, and hotel accommodations.
**Daily tasks and responsibilities**
- Make and change reservations for air, car, and hotel, including both domestic and international reservations
- Understand ticket exchanges and refunds
- Assist travelers with using GetThere, our online booking tool
- Assist in monitoring and working Sabre queues
- Assist Leisure schedule changes and other airline related functions
**Non-essential functions and tasks**
- Assists in other areas of the department as necessary.
- Assists in other areas of the company as necessary.
**Typical schedule**
*Two alternating shifts 8:00-4:30 and 9:00-5:30 EST
- These schedules may vary based on the needs of the business.**_
- Education/Training:
- Travel Industry Degree, **is required.**
- Permits/Licenses/Certifications:
- OPC & TICO, **are required. (Can be acquired in 90 days of being hired).**
- Experience:
- 2-years minimum corporate travel agency or airline experience, **are required.**:
- 2-years SABRE skills, including all types of pricing, air, car & hotel reservations, **are required.**:
- Ticketing experience including exchanges, **is** **required.**
- Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, time-management and organizational skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Takes ownership of responsibilities and is accountable for actions
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
- Maintains confidentiality of data, documentation, projects or other sensitive material
- Familiar with published air rules, pricing, and exchanges
**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time
