What will you do?_**
- Primary Accountabilities_
- Assisting with production and administrative staff recruitment.
- Human Resources administrative support
- Specific Accountabilities_

Recruitment
- Assist with applicant screening, schedule & conduct phone interviews for staffing vacancies.
- Work in collaboration with HR team members to support staffing plans.
- Manage international recruitment process by working alongside consultants and stakeholders.
- Assist Recruiting & Onboarding Coordinator with organizing and attending job fairs.
- Maintain ADP applicant tracking system, onboarding module.
- Ensure job descriptions are updated as required.
- Utilize social media to promote job openings and career events - review technology to enhance recruitment.

HR Administration
- Assist in the development of HR related programs.
- Transcribe and/or distribute, copies correspondence, letters, memos, reports, presentations, policies/procedures, employee verification and unsolicited resume letters.
- Record management of confidential HR related files (i.e. employee files, medical files etc.).
- Coordinate employee apprenticeship administration through Skilled Trades BC and participating institutions.
- Participate and conduct facility tours as needed.
- Assist with new hire and annual performance review coordination.
- Payroll and benefits administrative support.

Health & Safety Administration
- Review and revise designated first aider list on a quarterly basis while coordinating any first aid related training or renewal.
- Administer Hearing Conservation program and schedule annual audiometric testing.
- Ensure the timely completion WorkSafe BC claims and accident/injury reporting and conducting investigations.
- Liaise with WorkSafeBC, TeksMed and other regulatory agencies on safety programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate Return-To-Work program for injured workers.
- Updating weekly and monthly safety reports.
- Conduct annual Safety Data Sheets (SDS) audit.
- Monitor and schedule employee online training in our safety management system (DATS).

What do you need to succeed?_**
- Previous experience or education in Human Resources Management.
- Administrative assistant experience or education is an asset.
- Previous recruiting and international recruiting experience is an asset but not required.
- Previous experience using ADP Workforce Now would be an asset.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a strong team.
- Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks.
- Quick learner, systematic, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detailed oriented and accurate in execution.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise fair and impartial judgement.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to shifting priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Working Conditions_**
- Frequent periods of working at desk using computer.
- Interactions with employees, management, and the public at large.
- Regular periods during which continuous physical effort may be required.
- Frequent need to give concentrated attention, either hearing or seeing to work being performed.
- Exposure to factors such as high noise levels, temperature variations, fumes, and moving machinery which may cause periods of discomfort when out on production floor.

- Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week - flexible on daily schedule.
