**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We are currently looking for an ambitious and friendly** Operations Assistant **to join our growing team in beautiful **Kelowna, BC** The Ops Assistant will complete a range of administrative and operational tasks to support the function of our **Kelowna Branch.** The Ops Assistant will be familiar with a variety of services, practices, and processes and will support our Ops Manager and Fire Service Technicians through a wide range of tasks related to office administration and organization, scheduling and dispatch and reporting and communication.

**_ Key Responsibilities:_**
- Schedule Field Service Technicians on maintenance inspections and repairs as efficiently as possible, while meeting department targets
- Effectively dispatch Field Service Technicians on emergency service calls
- Assist in customer inquiries regarding quotes or invoices as necessary
- Exhibit Community Fires’ shared Core Values to effectively deliver next-level service to all customers
- Coordinate pick-up and delivery of mail services for the office (Canada Post, Couriers etc.)
- Data entry and record keeping as needed
- Develop and maintain meaningful customer relationships that promote loyalty and retention
- Additional duties as assigned

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Proven admin/office/scheduling/ experience in relevant position
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Minimum education of a high school diploma, or GED
- Prior experience with a routing/directing calls
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality, discretion and ethical conduct
- Good organization, time management, and prioritization skills
- Exceptional verbal, written, and listening skills (English)
- Self-starter and can work independently
- Team player with a warm and outgoing personality
