Production Tooling Coordinator

**Purpose and Scope**: The Production Tooling Co-Ordinator will manage tooling service schedules in co-ordination between the Tooling and Production departments. This individual will also be responsible for fulfilling the purchasing and administrative needs of the Toolroom and Engineering departments.
Must be comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Scheduling mold service priorities for the Toolroom department as agreed with Production.
- Purchasing components and supplies for the Toolroom, Mold Maintenance, and Engineering groups.
- Creating and fulfilling purchase orders created for sub-suppliers.
- Ensures mold maintenance area is organized such that a safe working environment is maintained.
- Responsible for assigning and maintaining mold storage identification locations.
- Follow policies and procedures for procurement and payment to minimize expense and maintain a stable supply of resources.
- Resolves conflicts with internal and external stakeholders by addressing complaints immediately within established company procedures.
- Provides effective communication linkages through telecommunication and/or internet-based technologies to ensure customer access, service, and operational coordination.
- Other duties as required eg. Periodic pick up & deliveries for toolroom

**Knowledge and Skill required**:
- High School Diploma
- Comfortable in office and plant environment
- Knowledge of MS office, MS Access is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Clerical/Administrative Experience
- Computer skills
- Comply with all facets of Health & Safety
- Forklift and crane certified (will train)
- Demonstrates competence in leadership, communication, professionalism, organizational and analytical skills, and technical/professional skills and knowledge in performance of duties and responsibilities
- Development and maintenance of effective relationships with administrative staff.
- Basic mechanical/tooling knowledge an asset
- Skill in preparation and presentation of reports
