About the Job:
As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for strategically sourcing and procuring goods and services to meet the needs of our operations. Your leadership skills and keen eye for cost-effective solutions will drive the efficiency of our procurement processes.We are hiring for our client EnviroNest.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives and optimize cost efficiency.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms, and establish strong supplier relationships.
- Monitor and manage the procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and priorities.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Implement and maintain procurement software and systems to streamline processes.
- Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of excellence.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing management within the logistics or related industry.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON L4W 1E4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
