We are currently seeking out 1 _AMAZING_ Production Planner/Scheduler for our operations.

The Production Planner/Scheduler is responsible for producing and maintaining the production schedule. This role works closely with the Material Planner, Sales, Production, and other personnel to ensure the most efficient use of time, materials, and resources.

What you'll be doing:

- Planning, monitoring, and maintaining daily/weekly production schedules using work order information, equipment, inventory, and personnel availability.
- Developing and maintaining planning tools to assist in production schedule accuracy.
- Monitoring production capacity to report accurate lead times.
- Evaluating, maintaining work order job instructions to ensure relevant information is up-to-date.
- Daily duties will include tracking work orders, monitoring priorities and delivery dates, reviewing production and shipment schedules, updating labour/machine build times, and completing status reports for production progress and work in process.
- Driving on-time delivery initiatives.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What gives you the edge:

- 2+ years planning/scheduling experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and databases, and prior experience and familiarity with Epicor and/or other ERP software an asset.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in order to meet departmental needs, make effective decisions, and perform various tasks with changing priorities and deadlines in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in and promote a team-oriented environment.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
- Willingness to continuously learn.
