**Roles & duties**:

- Work with the Manager, Inventory Control to improve inventory accuracy and complete inventory reconciliations.
- Responsible to generate cycle count sheets for daily, weekly and annual cycle count checks for the warehouse, report findings, evaluating variances and ensuring variances are corrected in SAP.
- Responsible for inventory reconciliation between Taro SAP and UPS SAP on a bi-weekly basis to ensure inventory accuracy and efficient utilization.
- Responsible for adjusting inventory in SAP based on Incident Investigation Reports/Damages from UPS.
- Responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels for lab consumables/production consumables and pro-actively flag to the procurement team when re-supply is needed.
- Review and analyze inventory for production requirements, ensure Raw Materials are available for production.
- Closely work with the warehouse to ensure orders sent for destruction are picked and closed in the system.
- Support the Material Master Specialist on day-to-day material master changes; act as a back-up when needed.
- Manage transition date of old to new Components and advice various stakeholders inventory depletion dates.
- Manage inventory depletion of materials based on production reduce and/or create new Batch Orders.
- Assist the Master Data Specialist in creation of bill of materials (BOM), routings, capabilities, work order notes, and item label override, as it relates to production.
- Assist with Internal and External Audits.
- Support the creation and amendment of SOP’s as they relate to inventory processes and procedures at Taro.
- Represent department on projects as required.
- Perform root cause analysis with corresponding corrective action recommendations.
- Actively participate and/or lead Continuous Improvement projects.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Support ongoing master data clean-up projects

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to work and adapt in a fast and dynamic organization while maintaining strong controls over details to support decisions.
- Sound administrative skills, knowledge and proficiency in current Windows software packages.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions as well as communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
- Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers.
- Demonstrated experience with generating and interpreting reports.
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments while meeting deadlines
- Detail oriented, accurate data entry to ensure that correct information is available for all departments.
- Ability to work under pressure & multi-task in a fast paced work environment.
- Excellent communication skills, strong business writing
- Diligent adherence to deadlines required to meet production plans.
