We are seeking a Technical Release Manager to oversee Enterprise Project Management Information Systems which include Unifier, P6, Ecosys, Aconex and ProjectWise etc.. The Technical Release Manager will manage and provide input to the day-to-day execution of operation and delivery teams who are implementing technology solutions to address Metrolinx business needs.

**What will I be doing?**
- Oversees for Enterprise Project Management Information Systems which include Unifier, P6, Ecosys, Aconex and ProjectWise etc..
- Supports the definition of the Application Support team’s yearly operating plan and performance objectives to monitor for quality and excellent delivery of services
- Delivers expertise, advice and direction to I&IT Application Support team and Service Provider resources responsible for the delivery of related projects and services across the organization
- Leads virtual teams of vendor project managers, technical experts, internal I&IT resources responsible for delivering initiatives on assigned product roadmaps;
- Tracks initiatives, reviews progress and endorses scope, time or cost changes, escalates severe problems to Director I&IT Application Support and/or I&IT Commercial Office as required and informs business and Product Managers if there is an impact on business’ requirements.
- Provides input to annual and long-term budgets and staffing plans that adhere to corporate standards and applicable legislation; meets service delivery objectives and manages team activities within budgetary limits.
- Provides input to the development of product roadmaps that utilize current tools and formal product management methodologies to oversee and support product development and eventual delivery to production.
- Liaises with all product stakeholders and various I&IT teams to confirm product designs, track progress through development, resolve problems, manage changes and address business expectations in the event of development issues
- For I&IT’s most complex initiatives, assists in the confirmation of internal and Service Provider product designs and tracks progress through development, resolving problems, managing changes, in collaboration with product stakeholders and various I&IT teams, and addresses business expectations in the event of development issues.

**What skills & qualifications do I need?**
- Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline - or a combination of education, training and progressive experience in solution delivery leadership positions deemed equivalent.
- Preference will be provided to those proficient with Enterprise Project Management Information Systems which include Unifier, P6, Ecosys, Aconex and ProjectWise etc
- Minimum eight (8) years’ related experience contributing to the success of midsize-to-large initiatives with above average levels of complexity and business criticality.
- Agile certification (Agile Certified Professional, Certified Scrum Product Owner) is an asset.
- Certified in Software Development Methodologies is an asset.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 is an asset
- ITIL Foundations Certification is an asset
