EECOL Electric is looking for an experienced individual to take on the challenge of Business Development Associate. The Business Development Associate is responsible for acquiring, expanding and maintaining a particular industrial business vertical within a geographical territory. This role involves increasing company revenue by generating sales from new and existing customers. To this end, the Business Development Associate will identify, qualify and close opportunities seeking the organizations products and services. The Business Development Associate will also work with Manufacturers and Agents to raise awareness of company offerings and initiate new business ventures in order to increase market share and meet fiscal goals.
**THE JOB**:
- Serve as a single point of contact for industry vertical customers, Architects, engineers; ensure execution of all services for client, implementation, training and ongoing support.
- Develop and maintain relationships within assigned accounts; improve client utilization and product/service adoption rates.
- Collaborate with customer contacts, up to and including senior level executives in order to define needs and provide value-based solutions.
- Participate in personal development training and technical training for the all product lines.
- Identify and target new business sales opportunities that represent both short and long term sales cycles
- Promote and maintain EECOL Electric’s brand image and identify within the industry vertical
- Develop sales goals for the territory and manage all aspects of strategic sales initiatives for these regions
- Provide input and assist in development of presentations and other marketing collateral
- Create and conduct in-depth sales presentations that highlight key benefits, ROI and value propositions.
- Assist in the creation of long term product life cycle strategies for customers
- Identify and resolve risks associated with the delivery and provision of customer contracts; manage client expectations throughout the contracts and pursue contact renewals
- Ensure overall client satisfaction
- Conduct and develop quarterly and annual account reviews in order to effectively manage account lifecycle
- Analyze, assess and document client initiatives, meetings, projects and activities.
- Promote awareness of new products and services
- Establish and maintain a team scenario with technical, inside and management personnel.
- Participate in industry related events and regulatory developments
- Performs other duties as required.
**WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR**:
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience with EECOL including knowledge of Outside Sales and Quotations. Management experience would be an asset.
- Technical background would be an asset. Strong desire for ongoing learning.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain composure under stress.
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, planning and communication skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, with high energy and enthusiasm.
