Procurement Specialist

Bold Exteriors Inc is a Siding Construction Company located in Milton ON. Out growing out first location 3 years ago we continue to grow and expand, being a full-service company to both homeowners and developers in the GTA, Hamilton, Kitchener and Durham Region. We pride ourselves with exceptional craftsmanship and quality service. We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Team. This role is based full time out of our Milton office.

**What your day would look like**:

- Develop and lead procurement strategies for the supply of goods or services, demand planning.
- Coordination of equipment rental requests from operations groups and field staff (from receipt of rental request, the ordering / coordination of equipment to site, the coordination of off-rent and pick-up at end of term).
- Create and issue Purchase Orders and manage change orders with suppliers.
- Review of invoices to ensure contract compliance and seeking credit notes when required.
- Develop procedures and practices with suppliers.
- Conduct research and due diligence to understand market trends and best practices to provide strategic outlooks for the category.
- Update, revise, and format reports relating to procurement performance, compliance and various spend analyses.
- Primary liaison between Finance and suppliers to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Maintain and develop relationships with current partnerships and suppliers while reviewing potential new sources of supply.
- Other duties and projects as determined by the business.

**What we are looking for from you**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
- 2-3 years experience within a previous procurement or similar role
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain systems
- Familiarity with QuickBooks would be considered an asset
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to analyze pricing proposals
- Solid understanding of sourcing strategies and the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ability to procure both off-the-shelf items and custom fabricated components
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Knowledge with Excel

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
