**Primary Responsibilities**
The MiltonRestore Manger is the leader of the store and as such, leads by example to create a positive and fun-filled, energized environment. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence that leads to increased customer base and sales volume through optimized staff and volunteer performance and engagement, customer and donor satisfaction and engagement, and identifying and maximizing opportunities to grow brand awareness through the community.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**A. Operation, Sales and Marketing**
- Deliver business results by strategically assessing, planning and implementing actions that increase profitability, success and growth. This includes increasing community awareness through maximizing customer sales, organizing sales and customer events, developing opportunities to cultivate relationships in the community and delivering and nurturing a “Habitat families first” message to customers and groups outside of the ReStore.
- Ensure operational best practice processes are utilized including those related to merchandising, customer service and engagement, communications, receiving, record keeping, etc.
- Build customer loyalty with the assistance of the staff and volunteers by providing exceptional customer service, meeting customers’ needs, creating magical moments, and coaching and empowering staff and volunteers to resolve customer disputes to achieve a positive outcome.
- Work with the to identify and implement donor and customer engagement initiatives.
- Work with the Warehouse Coordinator and ReStore Associate(s) to ensure that quality product flows consistently from the warehouse and is enticingly presented and displayed. Identify opportunities for upcycling as appropriate to increase value. Ensure product is tested, repaired, cleaned and appropriately and fairly priced following pricing standards or utilizing online research to maximize sales potential. Ensure all commercial identification marks and UPCs on donated material are removed.

Store Floor Manager
- Work with the ReStore Associate(s) to create eye-catching internal and external signage to increase visibility and sale, and ensure all sale and discounted product is marked down with appropriate signage to limit the need for bartering.
- Work withaffiliate ReStore leaders to optimize product distribution, customer experience, best practices, volunteer engagement, etc.
- Protect staff, volunteers, customers, donors and product by ensuring all safety protocols are in place. Ensure safety hazards are identified, reported and rectified, staff and volunteers are aware of hazards and wear appropriate PPE, all safety incidents and near-misses are documented, corrective action is implemented, and documentation is forwarded to the Director.
- Liaise with the Product Planning and Development Specialist and Logistics Manager to identify product needs and plan for upcoming product deliveries.
- Oversee the maintenance of the facility, ensuring customer areas, washrooms and volunteer areas are clean and neatly maintained, and issues are identified and resolved with the assistance of the Director, if required.
- Maintain a high standard of discretion, integrity and customer service in all dealings.
- Ensure SDS information is in place for product used in store.

**B. Staff Engagement**
- Through guidance, coaching, encouragement, and empowerment, creates a safe and supportive team-oriented environment in which staff and volunteers make a positive contribution to the effective operation of the affiliate, excel in their role and engage in a rewarding experience.
- Assist with the recruitment of ReStore staff, orient new staff to the operation of the store, and conduct safety, health and environment (SHE) training according to existing standards.
- Plan and prepare staff schedules in accordance with hour’s allotment & customer traffic patterns and sales volume.
- Ensure staff present a professional image with Habitat attire and the appropriate personal protective equipment.

**C. Volunteer Engagement**
- Work with the Volunteer Services Coordinator to identify volunteer needs for recruitment purposes and assist with the recruitment process.
