We are looking for a New Product Implementation (NPI) Project Manager to join the team at Lindt & Sprüngli (Canada), Inc.
The NPI Project Manager is responsible for managing the cross functional effort to deliver new products and changes to existing products by ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within the project scope. The role includes developing project schedule, assigning and managing projects tasks within the cross-functional team, master data set up, communication with the sourcing countries among other tasks. The role will closely work with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Master Data, Finance and Retail.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage innovation projects including new launches, displayers’ development, line extensions, artwork refreshes, sourcing changes, leveraging existing New Product Introduction processes and Stage Gate Methodology
- Develop projects timelines based on the cross-functional team requirements and suppliers/sourcing countries lead times
- Lead weekly project status calls, ensuring all projects are on track proactively mitigating challenges as they arise
- Partner with Marketing Innovation to successfully manage all projects through exploratory and feasibility phases of the innovation design process gaining alignment from management at each gate
- In collaboration with Cross-Functional team manage all steps of the project from Ideation to Launch
- Manage documents and data repository, creating and maintaining project status reports and sharing them with the business
- Manages Stage Gate process to ensure each project is moving through the process as needed to meet business requirements
- Manages Project Management tool, as key enabler to deliver timelines as needed
- Works with finance on sourcing analysis, to make recommendations to the business on the most competitive landed costs for the company
- Works cross functionally on process improvement projects, delivering benefits to the business in ways of working.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years' experience in CPG project management
- Experience working in supply chains and new product development
- Experience with process improvement. Stage-Gate approach knowledge is an asset.
- Advanced time management and analytical skills
- Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills with a high degree of execution excellence and the ability to work on strict timelines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional team
- Execution focused with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines in a very fast-paced environment
- Experience with food industry and retail stores environment is an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PP, and Word). Smartsheet knowledge is an asset
