**SCOPE**
Reporting to the Director, Career Management Services with functional reporting to the C-RISE Career Advisor, the incumbent coordinates all activities related to the Career Roadmap for International Student Excellence (C-RISE) program in support of the planning and execution of international students and employer events. In addition, the incumbent develops marketing and communication collateral to advance the C-RISE program within the context of CMS’ campus recruitment and career programming objectives.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead the logistics of all in-person and virtual international students and employer events; including networking session, career panels, international student treks to Toronto, and speaker series.
- Support the C-RISE Career Advisor with scheduling and organizing annual mock interview days.
- Conduct outreach to employers and Concordia / John Molson alumni for participation in the C-RISE events. Oversee event management planning of a multitude of event types, both in-person and online.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including Hospitality, Communications, Alumni Relations, Concordia Career Centers, John Molson departments and employers to establish partnerships in support of the unit’s goals and activities.
- Plan and budget travel, hotel and secure venues for out-of-town C-RISE events. Handle contracts with external parties; ensure adequate liability insurance coverage and that Concordia terms and conditions are addressed; ensure that all necessary waivers to perform event-related activities were approved prior to the events; make certain that all financial and event-related documents have been dealt with.
- Assist with all logístical matters, liaising with internal and external suppliers such as Hospitality, Facilities, Caterers, IITS, etc. Manage event budget and track all event-related and other program activities charges.
- Develop and execute digital marketing and communication strategies, under the supervision of the C-RISE Career Advisor, to promote the program to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure C-RISE and unit content is relevant and timely on all CMS communication channels including web page, event calendar, social media, etc.
- Compile data and prepare reports on program’s outcomes, including student placements and participation rates, for C-RISE Advisor and CMS Director.
- Create and update the C-RISE success board and gather testimonials from past participants.
- Perform other duties as required in support of the operation of the unit.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma of Collegial Studies (3 year technical DEC) in Business Administration, Office Technology, Marketing or other field pertinent to the primary responsibilities, and a minimum of 4-7 years of related marketing and event management experience.
- Self-motivated team player with excellent organizational and planning skills who is able to take initiative, establish priorities and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to multi-task and work on a variety of projects concurrently with meticulous attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to participate in off-site activities; occasional traveling to other cities (Toronto) may be required.
- Work flexible hours (outside regular business hours) in meeting required and unforeseen demands/deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to work autonomously, with mínimal supervision.
- High level of professionalism in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Good knowledge (Intermediate level) of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated knowledge of social media platforms, communication, and design tools (Canva, Campaign Monitor) and video conferencing solutions (Zoom, MS Teams, Cisco Webex).
