Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, the Sales & Administrative Coordinator will confidently be able to provide superior customer service, detail-oriented administrative support, and sell products and/or services that maximize revenues. This position is also responsible for the administration of our 52 slip Marina.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Acts as an Ambassador for sales & catering departments, including responding to basic internal/external inquiries
- Coordinates meetings, events, site inspections, client appointments and/or activities related to sales functions within the property
- Provides vacation and overlap coverage for the sales department during periods of high volume
- Assists the Senior Sales Manager/Conference Services Manager with Banquet Event Order data entry and/or sales administration tasks as directed
- Performs routine and ad hoc administrative duties to support the sales department including ordering office supplies, sending courier packages/invoices, drafting correspondence, ensuring accurate billing and maintaining files
- Ensuring high customer service standards
- Contributing innovative, revenue generating ideas for the property
- Keep Front Desk up to date with marina reservations
- Set-up contracts for long-term, moorage guests
- Ensure monthly moorage fees are collected
- Social Media promotion, engagement and moderation for the property
- Other duties as assigned and required

**Qualifications & Skill Requirements**:

- Secondary school diploma working towards a degree/diploma in related field an asset
- Previous experience in the hotel industry an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; spreadsheets and word processing
- Knowledge of Social Media including content moderation for Facebook and Instagram
- Strong phone manner/etiquette and communication skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Service-oriented and self-motivated, able to work with mínimal direction
- Ability to multi-task, meet multiple deadlines with great attention to detail
- Open to change, continuous improvement and identifying solutions
- Exemplifies Coast Core values and enjoys working in a culture of accountability
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships within department and hotel
- Problem solving and decision making ability demonstrated by adequate solutions to presented problems
- Knowledge of hotel property and local area to provide guest service advice and information
