The Catering Events Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our catering events by managing all aspects of event coordination. This position requires a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused professional who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Catering Events Lead will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to plan, execute, and oversee events, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all attendees. "We specialize in corporate catering, handling everything from large-scale BBQ events for up to 6,000 guests to intimate canapé parties for 50."

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Event Coordination**: Oversee all aspects of event catering from initial planning to execution. Work closely with clients to understand their vision and ensure all catering needs are met with precision and creativity.
- **Team Leadership**: Manage and supervise a team of catering staff, including servers and chefs. Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure high standards of service and presentation.
- **Menu Development**: Collaborate with the culinary team to design and customize menus that align with clients’ preferences and dietary requirements. Ensure that food quality, presentation, and service exceed expectations.
- **Logistics Management**: Handle all logístical aspects of event catering, including setup, service, and teardown. Ensure that all equipment and supplies are on hand and functioning properly.
- **Client Relations**: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during events. Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience.
- **Budget and Resource Management**: Monitor and manage catering budgets, including staffing, supplies, and equipment. Optimize resource use while maintaining high-quality service.
- **Quality Assurance**: Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and implement improvements.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in event catering or hospitality management, with a strong track record of successful event execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in event planning, catering, or a related role.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends.
- Proficiency in event management software (Caterease preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
