**Research Analyst**
**Cundill Centre for Child and Youth Depression**

**Position Description**
Based in the Child, Youth and Emerging Adult Program, the donor funded Cundill Centre is a vibrant clinical research centre dedicated to understanding and addressing child and youth depression. The Cundill Centre is developing best practices for the screening, prevention and treatment of child and youth depression, revolutionizing research, care and knowledge exchange in the field by addressing key evidence gaps. To achieve this goal, the Centre involves a large network of national and international scientists, clinicians and experts working in collaboration with youth, families and key stakeholders.

The Cundill Centre is seeking two (2) part-time, contract (1 year) Research Analysts to join an innovative clinical research team to support a multi-site randomized controlled trial focused on optimizing treatment for adolescent depression in community settings.

Reporting to the Cundill Center Manager and working closely with the Principal Investigators, the Research Analyst will be responsible for supporting the following activities: maintaining recruitment protocols at multiple sites (i.e., providing information about the studies to adolescents, caregivers, and mental health professionals), scheduling and conducting eligibility screenings and assessments, informed consent processes and data collection visits, administering questionnaires and interviews, organizing and conducting individual and focus group interviews, and assisting with the preparation of research ethics and regulatory submissions, presentations and manuscripts (i.e., conducting literature searches, verifying references, preparing data, conducting simple data analyses).

Responsibilities may also include providing assistance in preparing research materials, organizing and maintaining study records, collecting, coding and entering data, monitoring data integrity, ensuring the secure storage and maintenance of study records, assisting in the recruitment and training of research volunteers and providing administrative support to the researchers (e.g. booking meetings, communicating and coordinating tasks with other research team members, processing participant remuneration, filing financial documentation and performing other duties in the research office as required).

The Research Analyst will conduct study activities in compliance with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements, including Research Ethics Board (REB) and CAMH Research Quality and Regulatory Affairs requirements. **Qualifications**

**Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.**

**Please Note**: These two (2) part-time, contract (1 year) positions are part of the OPSEU Bargaining Unit.

**Salary Range**: $25.03 - $33.38 per hour
