The Faculty of Health Sciences is a large, diverse, and comprehensive unit, comprised of soon to be seven Schools (Nursing, Kinesiology, Health Studies, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Communication Sciences and Disorders and Food and Nutritional Sciences), a large Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and four Research Centres. The Faculty has more than 4,000 undergraduate students and more than 900 graduate students (200 PhD students).

**Responsibilities**:
The Clinical Placement Coordinator will work in consultation with the Faculty Course Coordinators for the Rehabilitation Sector Schools (CSD, PT & OT) and the Brescia School of Food and Nutritional Sciences, to establish and maintain student placements (within Ontario and occasionally out of province/ country). The Coordinator, will maintain productive working relationships with placement agencies, ensuring that any issues that arise are identified and managed appropriately. The Coordinator, is a key member of the placement team and works collaboratively with the Program Assistant, Faculty Course Coordinators, and professional practice agencies to ensure that the University and Rehabilitation/ Food and Nutritional Science students have completed all necessary pre-placement and agency onboarding requirements. This role will lead recruitment, education, professional development, support and recognition of preceptors and organizational partners.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Undergraduate Degree
- Master's Degree in Foods and Nutritional Sciences, or health care related field preferred

**Experience**:

- 4 years of experience in a university or health care setting
- Administrative experience including liaising and managing client relationships
- Experience with developing, implementing and interpreting academic policies and procedures

- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Adobe; proficiency in OWL preferred
