**Accounting Administrator**

Ritestart Limited is General Contractor in the ICI construction sectors and is looking for qualified, knowledgeable, adaptable individual to fulfill an accounting administration position. Based out of Burlington, Ontario we specialize in renovations, retrofits, new builds and additions in the industrial/commercial/institutional sectors and we are a growing.

In this position you will report to the President and work closely with project managers and project coordinators to ensure that all accounting requirements are met. Ritestart Limited is a safety first contractor.

You will:

- Maintain all accounting systems at all times in a complete and orderly manner
- Prepare and self audit trial balances, report directly to the President immediately all variances and inconsistencies
- Add updated Project Work in Progress report values to company wide tracking prepared by the Project Manager
- Work with management to complete deferred revenues and preliminary tax remittances calculations for Accountant.
- Balance monthly all accounts, report any discrepancies and correct as required
- Enter all Accounts Receivables, update and report missing Project Managers monthly WIP (work in progress) reports to Management
- Enter all Accounts Payable, report over invoicing and over payments to project manager and President
- Original Project Budget Entries
- Prime contract Change Order entries
- Weekly payroll entries and reconciliations incl. Filing preparations for Bi-Weekly Remittances to Management for payment
- Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations (including receipts filing)
- Subcontract and Vendor Payments
- Accounts Receivable Postings
- Account Payable Postings
- Prepare all Cheques
- EHT Filing Preparations, Filing and Payments
- WSIB Quarterly Preparations and Filings, ready for Payment
- HST Monthly Preparations for Filing and Payments
- Employee Health Benefits Administration
- Subcontractor and Material Vendor Purchase Order and Change Entries, job cost postings
- All Employee related administration
- Year End and Quarterly Reporting and Balancing preparations, complete adjusting entries.
- Special Project Requirements conformance as required
- New Job and Vendor Entries
- Other tasks as maybe requested
- University Degree in Accounting or College Business Accounting
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role or similar industry
- Proficiency in use of accounting software, Ritestart utilizes Sage 100 Contractor
- Demonstrate proactive approach to problem solving using a solution-oriented mind-set
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills that demonstrate the ability to maintain balance among multiple priorities, with excellent attention to detail and quality delivery.
- Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, staff, external partners/vendors
- Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to work independently
- Possess a desire and interest in understanding the wider business
- Proven time management skills
