
Desktop Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Technician to join our team. As a Desktop Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality of our computer systems and ensuring that employees have the necessary tools to perform their job duties effectively.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide desktop support and resolve technical issues reported by end-users
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software
- Troubleshoot software and hardware problems, including network connectivity issues
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of local area networks (LAN)
- Collaborate with the help desk team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates and backups
- Document all technical procedures and solutions in a clear and concise manner
- Communicate effectively with end-users to provide guidance and support
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely resolution of technical issues
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and computer networking
- Familiarity with VPN technologies and remote desktop support tools
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Pay: $14.25-$38.51 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
