The Property Management Branch within Alberta Infrastructure manages a large portfolio of buildings and land. The Branch has offices throughout the province providing property management services to more than 200 locations.

The Government of Alberta, Properties Division within Infrastructure is recruiting for a Property Management Programs Advisor to work in their busy Edmonton office. If you are looking for a challenging yet exciting opportunity, look no further and apply

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Projects, this position collaborates with all areas of Property Management (Project Management, Facility Management, Property Management Programs & Integration) and with external stakeholders who manage provincially owned public infrastructure to align processes and standards in property operations. The position supports the analysis of practices across organizations to identify gaps, weighs risks and opportunities of potential approaches to align organizations, proposes options, develops work plans to achieve alignment, and monitors work plans to completion.

The position compares practices between infrastructure organizations to determine which yield the greatest value for money; reviews spending to identify opportunities to increase quality and improve value for money in project and facilities management procurement activities; and uses data to compare property operations (e.g. utilities usage, incident frequencies, preventive maintenance tasks, occupant density, etc.) to find trends and deviations from norm with the goal of improving property operations as a whole, including the creation of a system to measure performance of programs.

Finally, this position will provide technical expertise in building, repairing, and maintaining SharePoint pages to organize and communicate information, processes, and resources to property management staff.

**The main duties of the Property Management Programs Advisor are (but not limited to)**:

- Participate in strategic initiatives and projects at a broad property operations level to align activities between regional groups
- Provide innovative solutions and methodologies to address Property Management’s alignment with other provincial infrastructure organizations
- Use data to inform decision making and promote a culture of data driver decision making
- Manage SharePoint pages in support of effective dissemination of information and resources
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:
Required:

- University graduation in Business or a related fieldEquivalency: Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:

- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
