**The Opportunity**
**Limelight** is growing and we are looking to expand our CloudOps & Support Team by bringing on a **AWS SysOps Administrator** to join our team Reporting to the VP of Product Strategy, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust infrastructure framework to support our customers and our dev team.
**Title**: AWS SysOps Administrator
**Location**: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid work model; 3 days/week in office)
**Hours**: Full-time, Flexible hours

**A Day in the Life
- Strategic Projects**
- Provide SysOps recommendations and insight into strategic decisions
- Proven ability to automate repetitive tasks in the AWS environment
- Create tools for front-line support to easily resolve routine issues
- Support SysOps aspects of related projects from other team members
- Building an error-handling process to automatically resolve issues/failures, where possible
- Monitor performance across all customers. Resolve and rebalance where required.
**A Day in the Life - Communication**
- A proven ability to communicate directly to customers to gather information or resolve issues
- Handle relationships with 3rd party providers for SysOps tools
**A Day in the Life - Support**
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across functions
- Train front-line support on how to perform simpler or basic SysOps tasks
- Provide an escalation path to handle complex issues
- Ability to deploy and support customer instances
**What you bring to the table**
- Post-Secondary Degree specialization in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of related experience in cloud based infrastructure.
- Fluent in the AWS environment including services such as CloudWatch, RDS. Redshift.
- Experience with SOC Type 2 Certification requirements and maintenance
- Proven track record of recognizing repetitive incident patterns and developing automated, scripted solutions
**The following are an asset**:
- One or more of the following certifications: AWS DevOps certification, AWS Security Specialist, AWS SysOps Administrator
- Experience building and maintaining ETL processes
- Proven track record of accurate change management and documentation
