The Global Security (GS) organization of which the Global Security Operation Center (GSOC) is part, is responsible for the protection and defense of CGI members, assets and data using logging, monitoring, SIEM/SOAR, endpoint security and other advanced on-prem and cloud technologies.

As a member of the GSOC team, the Cloud Support specialist will be responsible for daily operations, maintenance and monitoring of cloud-based security solutions.

Together with CGI internal service providers responsible for providing on-prem and cloud hardware and network infrastructure, the Cloud Support specialist will ensure the availability and performance of cloud-based security solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The Cloud Support specialist is responsible for any or all of the following activities:
Operations and Maintenance
- Work with project teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to onboard new cloud-based technologies on an as required basis.
- Document all custom configurations not covered by vendor documentation.
- Ensure all planned changes are managed using Change Management best practices.
- Ensure compliance with CGI Global Security standards.

Monitoring, Incident Reporting

Troubleshooting and Incident Resolution
- When cloud-based security solution incidents are reported, troubleshoot and determine root cause and required corrective action in a timely manner.
- Ensure lessons learned through root cause analysis and troubleshooting are documented.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
- Continuously look for opportunities to share knowledge with teammates using oral and written communication skills.
- Help project teams achieve their cost, schedule and quality goals by completing tasks on time and with quality.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Experience / Expertise
- Minimum 1 years of experience in Azure & Sentinel is required
- Cloud Security Infrastructure Support
- Security Solutions Support
- Security Infrastructure Support
- IT and/or Security Innovation and automation

Education and Certifications
- Degree in IT Security, Engineering or Technology related fields a major plus
- Relevant certifications are highly desirables

**Cloud Security Application Support Experience**:

- Experience in support Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions (i.e: Fugue)
- Experience in supporting SIEM Solutions (i.e: Elastic, Splunk, ArcSight, Qradar)
- Experience in supporting Elastic solutions (i.e: Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Filebeat, Packetbeat)
- Experience is using infrastructure automation solutions (ie: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, etc.)
- Experience with various log sources and security services from public cloud providers (i.e: AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel, Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor Logs, etc.)
- Strong understanding of identity and access management in cloud environments (i.e: Azure Active Directory)
- Understanding of enterprise scale cloud subscriptions
- Understanding of hybrid cloud environments

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of Linux based operating systems
- Understanding of scripting (bash shell scripting, python, etc.)
- Understanding of common data formats such as JSON, YAML, XM, Markdown
- Understanding of security operations
- Understanding of data protection
- Communication (Oral/Written) (English and French a major plus)
