**Childminding Leader - Part-time**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Ensure the childcare environment is safe, clean and fun for children and staff
- Organizing the daily routine of the children’s center (main room/infant room)
- Supervise, play with, and look after the needs of children from 6 weeks to 7 years of age
- To guide and liaison with the parents, giving positive feedback on every visit.
- Create and carry out developmentally appropriate activities and offering experiences that promote the well-being of each child
- Ensure guidance of children's behavior that encourages positive self-image
- Maintain the daily operations of the centre
- Maintain a clean space at quiet intervals throughout day
- Disinfect material and equipment on a regular basis
- To work with the infant caregiver to give consistent member service

**Requirements & Qualifications**
- Experience caring for children in a preschool, daycare or childminding setting
- Knowledge of child development and early learning
- Knowledge of reflective practice
- Be comfortable feeding, changing and handling infants, toddlers and preschoolers
- 3 years of experience in a similar setting (preschool/daycare/childminding)
- Childcare First Aid and E.C.E. certification or equivalent would be an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
