**Job Summary**

The Operations Manager serves both as the leadership for the location and as a customer facing employee charged with selling products, taking orders, resolving customer issues and professionally representing Edge1 Equipment at all times. Reporting to a Manager, this role provides coaching, training and development to the on-site staff while developing plans and strategies to grow the business. A majority of the time is spent providing exceptional sales and service to all existing and prospective customers.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2 years of rental or related experience gained either in construction, home improvement or retail.
- Minimum 1 year of Supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, influencing, communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent decision making and problem solving skills.
- Experience with Health and Safety training is an asset.
- Must have a G Class Driver’s Licence with a clean abstract.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

**Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the Branch Manager to develop annual plans and strategies to grow the business.
- Assists the Branch Manager with coordinating daily activities of associates.
- Responsible for training, development, coaching and engaging employees.
- Maximize sales opportunities with customers.
- Resolves issues that may escalate to a Supervisory level.
- Monitors inventory and ensures that the right equipment and supplies are available at the right times.
- Oversees the quality of the product and merchandising for the location.
- Adheres to and promotes all Company Safety Policies
- Other duties as assigned.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
