Mississauga, Canada National Tube Supply Full time

**National Tube Supply Canada**, one of the industry leading metals service centers specializing in carbon and alloy tubular products, is seeking an experienced** Buyer **professional in our **Mississauga, ON** office.

**In this position, job duties include but not limited to**:
**Review and Manage Inventory**
- Have regular meetings with merchandising managers to understand mill allocations
- Coordinate with sales group on contractual business and appropriate inventory levels
- Provide updates to sales team on supply chain issues
- Daily review of branch inventory
- Analyze data to determine any holes in the inventory
- Make recommendations to purchase material

**Manage purchasing volume of $12-18 million annually**
- Purchase material from various mills all over the world
- Variety of products mainly consisting of HFS, DOM, CDS, chrome bars, 4140
- Understanding of tariffs and duties on material inbound to Canada

**Administrative**
- Secure quotes from suppliers
- Enter purchase orders
- Enter transfer orders from US branches to maintain stock levels
- Track orders with suppliers and update system with correct delivery dates
- Review all paperwork to assure material matches the PO
- Update PO’s with any cost changes
