Field Sales Representative

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will represent DNOW to customers and prospects. We strive for a high level of customer service. You are not afraid of challenges nor getting your hands dirty. We’re looking for a competitive individual to develop sales strategies and attract new clients.
**What will you bring?**
- Willingness and the ability to travel in the assigned territory.
- Knowledge or related courses either industry specific (sales, piping, valves, fittings, etc.) or general business (sales, leadership, customer management).
- Previous experience in a sales role.
- Ability to speak effectively to customers using negotiation and selling skills to maintain and improve DNOW’s service.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract.
**What will you do?**
- Promote DNOW to generate sales and create customer satisfaction.
- Meet with customers to discuss service and product offerings.
- Cultivate key business relationships within assigned territory calling on regular and prospective customers and solicit orders, maintaining good rapport, and informing on value added products and services.
- Act as a liaison to resolve concerns with customers and maintain a desired level of service.
- Investigate current and forecasted requirements and introduce available products/services.
- Provide customer and market specific information to assist in day-to-day business.
- Compare pricing and market conditions to determine reasons for receiving or losing a quote.
- Complete and maintain all related account and sales reporting documents in a timely manner.
- Ensure budgeted sales figures are received and notify the Branch Manager of changes in the field for demand of products/services.
- Handle other duties within the branch as required. (May be required to work the Inside Sales desk at times.)
