**Some of what you will do**:
The Organizational & Leadership Development Specialist will drive Staples’ commitment to a high caliber associate experience, by supporting the implementation of talent programs. They will collaborate with the Organizational and Leadership Development (OD) team to research, develop, facilitate, and administer various OD and Leadership Development initiatives. They demonstrate exceptional communication, project management, judgement, and critical thinking abilities. Key focus areas include Employee Engagement, Onboarding, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Talent Calibration and Succession Planning, as well as Staples’ employer brand presence on social media.

**Specifically, You Will**:

- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality execution of the overall Organizational Development and Leadership strategies.
- Provide support with the execution of all OD and Leadership Development programs such as: new hire orientation, employer branding, core competencies, leadership development and high potential programs, associate engagement survey and supporting programs, Staples’ high-performance framework (e.g., year-end performance reviews), talent calibrations and succession planning.
- Partner to create and execute initiatives to enhance Staples’ employer brand presence on social media, drive traffic to career opportunities, and promote a positive experience with our employer brand.
- In partnership with the Senior Manager, Organizational & Leadership Development, research, source and/or develop tools or programs that assist leaders and associates in building and sustaining a highly engaged workforce.

**Some of what you need**:

- Post-Secondary education in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Psychology, related discipline or equivalent experience required.
- Project management, multi tasking, prioritizing a variety of priorities
- Proficiency in MS Office; advanced level skill in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong business acumen and collaborative style to build relationships and quickly gain credibility with key stakeholders across functional teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including group facilitation skills
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail and applies a structured approach to program management
- 3-5 years of progressive combined experience in Organizational Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Change Management, or a related field.
- Experience promoting employer brand through social media outlets is an asset.
