**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Schedule and assign tasks to production workers
- Collaborate with management to develop production plans
- Ensure that all company Quality & Safety requirements are supported and adhered to.
- Achieve budgeted labor and other departmental operating costs, including labor scheduling & labor flex appropriate to volume demand.
- Retain, inspire, cross-train, develop & evaluate a high performing team.
- Lead & execute the manufacturing plan, in order to meet sales demand & ensure efficiency, availability & continuity of customer supply, employing both strategic & tactical techniques as required.
- Manage packaging production plan and maximize productive capabilities, while controlling / optimizing working capital, in order to meet company production & financial objectives.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures & search out / reinforce best-practice behaviours or processes.
- Set & maintain a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) culture throughout the department.
- Build & monitor strong set of KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) such as OEE (overall equipment efficiency), Yield, Labor Leverage & Safety metrics.
- Optimize equipment capacity via efficient running and allocations by production platform.
- Drive quality, service, cost-management, innovation & continuous improvement initiatives with internal & external business partners.
- Support flawless execution of current & new packages, products, graphic changes, promotional activities and run-out / change over cost management.
- Provide & demonstrate both technical and soft-skill support to production team.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Strong background in Operations, with a minimum of 3-5 years of frontline leadership experience in a production environment is required.
- Knowledge & understanding of packaging / filling equipment is required.
- Must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
