**Dream is looking to welcome its latest Operations and Finance Intern - 8 Month Coop**
We are always looking for the best and brightest to join our thriving community. Dream’s Operations Finance is currently looking for an Intern, Operations Finance to support our Dream Office REIT and Dream Industrial REIT from May 2023 to December 2023.
This position will support two fast paced teams within the Operations Finance department, Revenue Control and Budgeting.

**What experience will I gain?**
Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role:

- Process internal invoicing between Dream businesses
- Review and process tenant billing and adjustment requests from site administrators
- Posting cash receipt deposit batches and process NSF payments
- Run Monthly Rent Rolls, AR Aging & Integrity reports and monitor AR activity on accounts
- Monitor and process incoming EFT payments
- Assist in the monthly and quarterly financial reporting process
- Bank reconciliations and booking journal entries as necessary
- Assist with budgets
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by your supervisor
- What type of experience do I have?*

- Working towards a university level degree in accounting, finance or business
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and concepts, familiar with journal entries and general ledger
- Highly proficient in Excel
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong people skills - You are a team player with an ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization
- Excellent communication skills - You are able to write and speak clearly, allowing you to articulate your point across
- Exceptional organizational skills - You have the ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- What knowledge do I bring to this role?*
- Experience with JD Edwards system and Insight Software an asset
