**Overview**:
The Centre for Education and Research on Aging & Health (CERAH) has an opening for a full-time equivalent (FTE) Knowledge Broker within the Indigenous Peoples’ Health & Aging Division. Under the general direction of the Division Lead, the incumbent will be responsible for planning, organizing, and evaluating culturally appropriate palliative care education for Indigenous communities, as requested by community partners and health and social service agencies. The incumbent will build relationships and networks with Indigenous communities and organizations, providing connections to resources, knowledge, and research-informed best practices. The incumbent will also assist in developing evidence-based health and aging related education curriculum.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree or an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 3 years related experience in
- Education, Humanities, Social Sciences or a health-related field
- Knowledge of/about Indigenous culture, history, experience, heritage, language and associations
- Knowledge and experience in adult education and education event planning is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to organize workload, set priorities and work within deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Solid judgment, critical thinking, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of community partners and resources
- Flexibility in a changing environment and varied demands
- Willingness to travel
