**Summer Arts Programming (TOROS)****:
**Musical Assistant**

**Effective July 4, 2023 to August 15, 2023**
- (Hiring for this position is based on student enrollment)_

**Location**:North Bay, West Ferris Secondary School

The Musical Assistant will work with small group of students to teach and rehearse musical scores. In collaboration with the Teacher Director and Teacher Producer, the Musical Assistant will Lead vocal training for all vocal ranges.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in Various Aspects of Musical and/or Theatrical Productions
- Strong Knowledge of Music Techniques, Theory and Performance
- Knowledge of Vocal Techniques and Leading/Teaching Harmony
- Experience Developing and Supervising Youth Programming (ages 12-17 years)

**Knowledge/Skills Required**:

- Strong Leadership and Communication Skills
- Proven Time management skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Comfortable in the use of Technology and Recording Software
- Ability to pay Piano and/or Guitar is considered an asset
- First Aid and CPRC Training is considered an asset

**Rate of Pay: $3000.00 (140 hours)**
