With our always-in-stock inventory of modular components, we are able to make thousands of different chairs and we even modify specific components as required. This means that all employees can be sitting on seating with a streamlined aesthetic, with custom modifications to meet the needs of each individual.

**ABOUT THE POSITION**

ergoCentric is currently seeking a self-motivated Order Entry Clerk with a strong level of familiarity with computers and software. Your role is to ensure sales orders are entered accurately and efficiently. This involves, but is not limited to pricing order, working with Inside Sales and customers to clarify and correct product descriptions and pricing, entering orders, sending order acknowledgements, making changes to orders and working with production to ensure proper input into the productions schedule. Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and time-management are the essential to succeed in this role.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

▪ Enter customer orders accurately in the Syspro system within 24 hours of receipt of clean purchase order.

▪ Checking records for duplication.

▪ Receive, mark and price all orders from various sources.

▪ Send order confirmation to the customer within 24-48 hours of receipt of clean purchase order.

▪ Inform customers by mail or telephone of order information, such as unit prices, shipping dates, and any anticipated delays.

▪ Verify customer and order information for correctness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary.

▪ Provide production order copies to the production team and sales orders to the Inside Sales Administrator.

▪ Coordinate with Inside Sales and customers to resolve any discrepancies on the purchase orders.

▪ Follow up on any alterations to original orders that are subsequently made by the customer.

▪ Perform basic management of electronic files (e.g. print, copy, and transfer)

▪ Enter data envelopes, labels, form letters and correspondence

▪ Perform general office duties such as photocopying, faxing, and binding

▪ Keep a clean, safe and organized work area.

▪ Adhere to policies, procedures and safety regulations.

▪ Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.

▪ Follow current standards and procedures.

▪ Perform other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**

▪ High school diploma, GED or equivalent

▪ Minimum 5 years related data entry experience

▪ Fast and accurate keyboarding skills (50+ WPM)

▪ Ability to learn quickly and understand product knowledge

▪ Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport is essential

▪ Ability to work with strong attention to detail and time lines.

▪ Demonstrated excellence in organizational and time management skills.

▪ Familiar with databases (web-based databases would be an asset)

▪ I.T. aptitude would be an asset

▪ Knowledge of Word, Excel, and previous experience with Databases. Knowledge of SYSPRO an asset.

▪ Experience related to general administrative duties.

▪ Flexibility to assume other duties as required

▪ Ability to adhere to confidentiality when working with sensitive information

▪ Related copy/mail/clerical experience preferred.
